Measurement

The distance between points can be received in three ways: in a map projection, taking into account the 3D metrics of a route and by measurement on ground with application of tools. Measurement (M) - is a measured distance in meters along the route axis from the first up to a current point of the metrics. The measurements of all points of the route metric must be formed before the use of the linear coordinate system.

The measurement value is written into the M coordinate (measurement). The first metric point of the route has a dimension value of 0 and is the origin of the linear coordinate system defined by the route. Measurement of the last point of the route metric is equal to the measured length of the object (subobject).
