Semantics replacement for marked objects

ic_8386  To replace an indicated value of the semantic characteristic for all marked objects it is necessary to do following:

- Use Search and mark dialog to define a list of processed map objects and press Mark button.

- Activate semantics replacement mode by pressing of the appropriate button of Semantic subpanel in Map editor).

- Define a name of the changed characteristic, its old and new value.

Search of the established values of semantics among marked can be carried out by variants:

1. Full coincidence, i.e. a specified characteristic with completely conterminous value must be present in the object.

2. Contains - search goes by the established fragment.

3. Begins - check onto coincidence of an initial symbol or group of symbols.

4. Any - nothing is entered into Old value string, and semantics with the specified characteristic belonging to the marked objects must be replaced.

New value of semantics can be entered either in full, or is fragmentary, if it is necessary to update only a part of value.

Symbol " * " is used in the event that the group of symbols is added to existing semantics into the beginning or into the end.

For example, the record *12 in a New value window means, that to the value of object semantics will be added "12".

- Define how to act if the processed object has not the replaced characteristic (to skip or to add).

- Click Ok button.
