icon_IDN_RSW_EDIT_FORWARDThe mode is intended for restoring the image of rasters  that have been modified by execution of «Undo» operation of the raster editor.

While drawing on a raster, auxiliary files are created with the source and edited blocks of the edited raster. Auxiliary files with ~~w extension (*.~~w) are formed in the Temp folder, for example: c:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Temp\RswXXXX.tmp.RsweEdit\Log\.

«Restore» mode functions in the current session of the raster editor.

After closing the «Raster Editor» panel, the auxiliary files are deleted and the restoration of the raster image becomes unavailable.

In the process of editing an image by tools of the raster editor, the free space on the disk is monitored for saving a copy of the edited part of the raster image. If there is not enough free disk space, the program asks the following question:

There is not enough disk space to back up the raster. Continue building?.

It is possible to refuse execution of operation of editing or to continue its execution without the further possibility of restoring the edited part of the raster image.

RESTRICTIONS:

The mode does not work with DOS-rasters of the RST structure (*.rst).
