Preparation the matrix of layer legend

Print Top page

The matrix legend file should correspond to the classifier of  vector map objects. The matrix legend filename is set by default according to  the classifier  name. If it is necessary user may choose the other name by >> button at right Matrix legend item.

The file is parted into the sections structurally: [MTL] - the header of a legend and [LAYERn] - descriptor of a matrix layer,  by quantity of layers. Geomon3D.ini legend corresponds to Geomon3D.rsc classifier in standard delivery. The user may create some legends for building  the different matrixes.

The information on the total file is indicated in the header [MTL] of Geomon3D.ini  legend file.

Ident – unique identifier of the given  legend;

LayerCount - quantity of matrix layers;

Scale – base scale the matrix of layers;

CodeObject – monitoring picket object code.

The information on each layer [ LAYERn ] further follows:

n - determines the sequence of a layer ( 1 - first, 2 - second etc. )

Color - color of a layer for visualization;

Name - title of a layer;

Semantic – semantic code describing power of a layer.

Quantity of matrix layers  is  a constant value in limits, definite as overall matrix dimensions. If the layer (stratum) of earth crust degenerates, then values of power for this layer becomes to zero, but  quantity of layers remains invariable.

Object code. Sets  conformity the pickets of monitoring to object in the vector map classifier. This field will be used at a mapping the pickets of monitoring. If the object code field is not set  or the indicated code misses in the classifier, the objects of monitoring will be charted on picket map by auxiliary object. The objects are ploted of the map and contain in semantics of the  layers powers values.

Base scale. The value of a scale does not influence on the sizes (overall dimensions, number of strings and columns) matrix. The base scale will be used for visualization  at initial matrix openning. For correct displaying  the matrix together with a vector map they should have identical base scale. The matrix scale is set  equal to a map scale at creation by a vector map. The matrix scale is set  on value of the appropriate field at creation by the database table or text file. If the scale does not preset, it is calculated automatically at the rate  of obtaining  the image  50 on 50 cm on area of construction.

Layer color. Determines color of a layer at its visualization  (building  of profile, three-dimensional model). It is explained  in the service text file  in the format of RGB-value, red, green, blue components, separated by gap.

Layer title. A title of a layer displaying  at matrix visualization.

Semantic code. A code of the semantic characteristic describing power of a layer. For each layer there should be itself semantic code from the conforming classifier. Semantics is assigned to picket objects and will be used at interpolation the matrix of layers elements.

Quantity of matrix layers (LayerCount), object code (CodeObject) and semantic code (Semantic) should be set  in strict  conformity to the classifier  of a vector map objects.
