Create title

A vector sign may contain titles with permanent text or text formed by the characteristics (semantics) of the object.

For example, the titles of the ferry and ford in the absence of characteristics have constant corresponding abbreviations "fer." and "fr.".

The title of the characteristics of the road has a more complex notation: "7(9)A" (9 meters wide road with 7 meters wide asphalt pavement). Service symbols are used to describe the format of the road title.  Text value of each semantics is formed under the separate reference to value of semantics on semantics code: #46 (width of  covering), #11 (the general width), #55 (a covering material). The simplified format for the composite title of the roads characteristics is: #46(#11)# 55. Since the recording format provides default values, which are written in parentheses, the more correct format will be:  #46()(#11)#55. Record "()" means an empty value in case of absence of semantics with the code 46.

To obtain the titles of the characteristics of bridges, dams, locks, ferries, fords and other objects, taking into account all the semantics used in these objects, complex titles are formed. Samples of complex titles:

Service symbols and words used for describing a title format;

Formatting numeral semantics;

Formatting of character semantics;

Formatting reference semantics (such as "List");

Abbreviation of reference and character semantics;

Compound titles;

Complex titles.
