Vertical band

Print Previous page Top page Next page

The vertical band is drawn along the metrics. The height of a band can be a constant or can be taken from specified semantics of map object. If the user has set semantics, but it is not present for object of a map, then the height, established at filling of parameters, will be taken. The band can be shifted from the metrics upwards or downwards. The size of shift can be constant, can be taken from semantics of object or the band can be located above other part of the image (Relative radiobutton). For example, at a multi-storey house the height of a band depends on semantics Quantity of floors, and is equaled to value of this semantics (for drawn object) multiplied onto the preset height of a floor (3м). The roof should lay above this band, irrespective of its height. Therefore for the roof it is necessary to set shift as a relative one.

Vertical band can be located along the metrics as follows:

- On relief;

- Band top is horizontal;

- Without taking into account a relief.

If to set Band top is horizontal the top will be distant from the maximal point of the metrics onto the preset size, and the bottom of a band will go by the metrics.
