Smoothing of isolines

Isolines received after tracking have the angular form, because of using a method of linear interpolation of sections construction. For elimination of the specified shortcoming it is carried out the smoothing of isolines as curve Bese or by a B-spline method, with factor of the condensation, specified by user. From the specified sequence of points two neighbouring points are chosen and between them the curve of a cubic polynom on the basis of positions of four points - two already mentioned and two next to them is created. Mathematically smoothness of curves is expressed in terms of a continuity of parametrical representations x (t) and y (t) and their derivatives. Curves of type B-spline possess property of a continuity of even the second derivatives x " (t) and y " (t) in points of joining of two next segments of a curve. Therefore B-spline provides reception of more smooth curves, than other ways of smoothing.
