Setting of checking scheme

Print Top page

A  checking scheme is an XML file (a file with the CXML extension) containing a list of types of checking and parameters of checking.

The checking scheme is created in accordance with the composition of the objects of the selected classifier. Since the checking scheme is rigidly tied to the classifier, the name of the classifier must be included into the name of the checking scheme file. For example: for the Digital Topographic Maps (DTM) with the classifier 100t05g.RSC, a checking scheme with the name «100t05g.cxml» has been prepared.

The program of customizing the checking scheme can work in a mode of creating, viewing and editing a checking scheme.

To set up or view the checking scheme, you must:

- select classifier (RSC-file) - press the «…» button and select a classifier file;

- select the checking scheme file (CXML-file) - press the «…» button and select the checking scheme file;

- select the necessary types of checking and set their parameters;

- when creating or editing, save the generated  checking scheme.

If the «Read Only» checkbox is selected in the source checking scheme, then only viewing of the scheme is possible. The «Save», «Set up» buttons will never become active. You can save your changes only into a file with a different name.

The form of the checking scheme settings dialog is shown below:

The checking scheme contains a list of checking's types of the following groups:

1. Structural checking;

2. Checking the passport of a map sheet;

3. Metrics checking;

4. Semantics checking;

5. Topology.

Structural checking is carried out always and for all objects of a map, regardless of the filter set, and can never be disabled.

The checking of the «Topology» group are divided into two subgroups:

- types of checking, which, like structural checking, checking the passport of a map sheet, metrics checking, semantics checking, are sufficient to be performed once for all sheet objects;

- types of checking, which for one sheet must be performed repeatedly with the division of checkable objects into separate independent groups.

All types of checking of this subgroup are added into the scheme sequentially.

For each type of checking it is necessary:

- set up the composition of processed pairs of object types;

- set parameters;

- enter a conditional name for a pair of object types, for example:

 «Contour lines - Hydrography (polygon)», «Contour lines - Cliffs»;

- click the «Add» button in the group of repeatable types of checking.

In order to view the parameters of the type of checking from the repeatable group, you must select the appropriate line in the checking scheme.

For the execution of editing a type of checking from a repeatable group it is necessary:

- to display parameters of the chosen checking;

- to enter changes;

- click the «Update» button in the group of repeatable types of checking.

To delete a type of checking from the scheme it is necessary:

- select the appropriate line in the checking scheme;

- click the «Delete» button.

When you click the «Clear» button, all types of checking (except for the structural one) are deleted from the scheme.

You can save the scheme by clicking on the «Save» button. The dialog does not close in this case.

Clicking the «Install» button saves the schema and closes the dialog.
