Installation of topographic fonts

Topographic fonts are installed into the operating system during installation of GIS Panoramas and are located in the C:\Windows\Fonts directory.

It is also possible to install fonts separately using the topographic fonts installer version 1.1.2.

If there are problems with the installation of topographic fonts, namely: fonts are not installed correctly, or are not displayed in the list of fonts (Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Fonts), then the following factors may be the cause:

1) Duplication of ttf font files in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder;

2) Duplication of registry values.

 To resolve these problems, you must perform the following steps once:

1) Uninstall GIS Panorama;

2) Remove the delivered installation «Topographic Fonts»;

3) In the C:\Windows\Fonts folder, delete all topographic fonts and their duplicates;

4) In the system registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts, delete the key values ​​related to fonts, if any;

5) Restart your computer;

6) Install topographic fonts by installing GIS Panorama or a separate distribution package Topographic fonts.
