Agronomist actions for map updating

The following describes the actions of the agronomist when working in the office of the enterprise in the program "Workstation of agronomist" or "Panorama AGRO".

1. Updating the collective map by database attributes. For this, the mode «Updating semantics on the map» is used.

2. Export offline map onto tablet.

3. Preparing the tablet for work.

3.1. A tablet with Windows operating system and support for GPS and WiFi technologies is used. And also presence of the ability to connect to a computer via a USB port.

3.2. A specialized program «Workstation of an agronomist» or another program of KB Panorama is installed onto the tablet, the means of which support editing and filling in the semantics of map objects.

3.3. Connection of tablet to the stationary computer for creation of one or several offline maps on a tablet.

3.4. A working set of maps is created from offline maps on the tablet in a specialized program using the «Data list of a map» dialog.

4. Carrying out field work and entering geoinformation measurements onto an offline map.

5. Import from offline map.

After completing field work, the data from the offline map of the tablet must be loaded into the collective map of the enterprise.

6. Updating the attributes of the Passport of field stored in the database according to the updated collective enterprise map. The mode «Updating semantics in the database» is used.
