The task Translation of classifier is intended to translate the names of layers, objects and semantics of the digital map classifier (RSC) into other languages: the name of the «СИСТЕМНЫЙ» layer changes to «SYSTEMATIC». Additionally, the task allows you to make changes to the classifier without changing the language, for example, to change the case of characters: the name of the «SYSTEMATIC» layer changes to «Systematic». The task is called through the Run application item of Tools menu. The Translation of classifier dialog is presented in the form of a table containing a list of full and short names of layers, objects, and classifier semantics.
Columns the Original name and the Original short name contain current names of layers, objects and semantics of classifier. Usual names are written in UNICODE format and have length up to 1023 characters. Short names are written in ANSI format and have length up to 31 characters (are used to support younger versions of GIS). Columns the New name and the New short name should contain the names corresponding to the original ones. These names are intended to replace the original names in the RSC classifier. Filling of new names is carried out from the dictionary. To go in the table to a record with a specific name, a search is provided at the bottom of the dialog. The search is performed by entering several characters (case insensitive). The «Downwards arrow» and «Upwards arrow» buttons let you navigate between the found names.
