Create line

A list of modes for drawing linear contours opens. In the open list, you must select the shape of the contour to be created: line, rectangle, circle, ellipse, arc, Bezier curve. The contour is drawn in the editing field of sign image, in accordance with the instructions displayed in the lower status bar. If you need to change the direction of the element contour, you must select one element and in the «Metric» tab, click on the button «Change element metric direction» .

Create polygon

A list of modes for drawing areal contours opens. In the open list, you must select the shape of the contour to be created: area, rectangle, circle, ellipse, sector, Bezier curve. To create polygons with a complex contour, a block of elements is used. The block of elements consists of contours of arcarc and polyline lines.

Create text

The mode for drawing a text element is enabled. When the left mouse button is pressed for the first time, the first point of the element is written in the sign editing field. On the second click, the second point of the element is recorded. Permanent text is entered in the lower right field of the «Image» tab. If there is no text, the field is colored in pink color. If the field contains symbols of national languages (excluding Latin), the background is colored yellow. Editing text parameters Editing text parameters is made by pressing the «Parameters» button.

If it is necessary to enter a link to a semantics, a list of semantics is used . A detailed description of the formation of links to semantics, compound and combined labels is opened by pressing the button .

Edit element

The edit mode of the selected element is enabled. If there is no selected element, you must select the element by clicking the left mouse button on one of the points of the element. Then move the selected points of the element to the required distance. To end the mode, release the pressed button.

Move

The mode of moving the selected elements is enabled. If there are no selected elements, all elements of the sign are moved. To move elements, press the left mouse button, move the pointer to the required distance and release the button.

Copy selected elements

The selected elements are copied while preserving the view and coordinates of the original elements.

Copy selected elements with vertical flip

The selected elements are copied with the preserved view. When copying, the metric of the sign is flipped relative to the vertical axis passing through the anchor point of the sign.

Copy selected elements with horizontal flip

The selected elements are copied with the preserved view. When copying, the metric of the sign is flipped relative to the horizontal axis passing through the anchor point of the sign.

Delete selected elements

The selected items are deleted.

Anchor point

The anchor point mode is enabled. When the left mouse button is pressed for the first time, the anchor point of the sign (a small red square) is recorded in the sign editing field. The second time you click, the second point of the base line of the sign is recorded (a thin red line bounded by a short vertical stroke).

Copy sign to clipboard

The sign is copied to the clipboard.

Paste sign from clipboard

The sign is pasted from the clipboard. Inserting a sign does not delete existing elements.

Step back

The sign image is restored by one step.
